Where to Camp on the San Francisco Peninsula and in the South Bay Area

Directions:	9 mi N of Boulder Creek via Hwys 9 and 236.

Reservations:	Call State Parks Reservations at 1-800-444-PARK (7275) or make reservations online through Reserve America.
Camps:	Big Basin maintains two group camp areas 25 mi apart with total of 4 sites. Two sites serve a maximum group size per site of 50 people with 18 cars; showers, flush toilets. Other two sites serve 40 people per site with 15 vehicles; no showers, portable toilets. Open- Daily all year. Maps: Big Basin Redwoods State Park; Trail Map of the Santa Cruz Mountains (Maps 1-2); USGS 7 1/2' quads Año Nuevo, Big Basin, Davenport, Felton.
