The Trail Center and its volunteers give back to the land much needed care and maintenance of trails. Trail work is the perfect blend of community service, outdoor awareness, conservation, physical exercise and camaraderie set in places of natural beauty. You, too, can be part of this effort. The Creek Trail (see photo) is located in Memorial Park, San Mateo County, California. The Trail Center helps to maintain this trail and others located on San Mateo County, Santa Clara County and California State Parks lands. This is just one of our many Trail Project sites. Support Our Work - Become a MemberIf you're not already a Trail Center member, help us improve trails throughout the San Francisco Peninsula, Santa Cruz Mountains and South Bay Area, produce excellent trail and park locator maps, provide a wealth of trail-related information via our website, publications and email/phone trails reference services, provide great volunteer opportunities for supporting our area parks and trails. Memberships begin at $25. New members joining at $50 and above may receive a complimentary map. See Membership Information for details. Join Our Mailing ListThe Trail Center Workday announcement and the Trail Center News & Events newsletter are sent out in advance of each trail work event (usually monthly), and at other times as needed. Both include detailed information on the upcoming trail work event. The newsletter also includes a schedule of future trail work events and selected park and trail news.
