Woodland Star (Acorn) Trail Reroute Project

Sponsored by the Trail Center and Acterra's Arastradero Preserve Stewardship Project

March 9: We began construction on the reroute of a segment of the Woodland Star Trail with an intrepid crew that concentrated closing an unwanted parallel trail and removing poison oak. Karen Cotter of the Arastradero Stewardship Project led the Palo Alto Scout Troop 5 and other volunteers in transplanting native plants from the new route to the closed trail.
